Going Digital

Last year, NCALL launched its website: ncall.ca. This year, we plan to extend our web presence, including:

  • Translating the website into French
  • Offering online membership registration for individuals and institutions
    • If your institution requires paper-based membership renewal, we will still be offering this option. Please email ncall.ottawagatineau@gmail.com to make arrangements
  • Creating a members-only section of the website, including:
    • Recorded Zoom meetings for viewing at a later date
    • Member directory
    • Meeting minutes

The NCALL Executive is also offering occasional use of the association’s Zoom account to paid members. Please contact us for more details.

Vacancy of Secretary Position

Following the AGM last June, the position of Secretary remained vacant. Katie Pelland, Assistant Reference Librarian at the Supreme Court of Canada has expressed interest in running for Secretary. We welcome other expressions of interest. A vote will be held in accordance with the NCALL Terms of Reference at our September meeting. The date for the September meeting will be confirmed in the coming days, as we solidify the availability of potential speaker(s).
