Please join us on November 25th, 2020 @ noon for a talk by Julius Haag, Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. Julius’ research draws on urban sociology, critical race theory, and cultural criminology to explore the individual and community-level impacts of policing and criminalization on young people from racialized and marginalized backgrounds. In particular, his research has focused on the lived experiences of young people from the Afro-Caribbean community.
He will speak on the topic of: Race, Criminal Injustice, and Policing in Canada.
