That legal change involves complex issues related to corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, tax, real estate, advertising, health, food law, criminal enforcement and employment and labour law. At our meeting, Mr. Bjornsson will explain how a firm such as his decided to create a new group, the kinds of information gathering and legal research that go into the work, the work load, what difficulties a firm might face in getting everyone from so many different areas of law to work together well in an entirely new legal environment etc. He will also discuss issues that have arisen since legalization. There will be a brief business meeting to start.
